Hello! Welcome to my Poetry portfolio. I’m a senior at Frederick Law Olmsted High School. Throughout my time at Artworks, I’ve learned to branch out and utilize many different styles of writing. Poetry is one of the perfect ways to convey ideas, capture emotions, and use it as a tool for self-expression. I was inspired by many things while completing my pieces, especially the ongoing social issues faced in our country and so many more around the world. I plan on attending the University of Buffalo this fall, and although I won’t be pursuing a career as a writer, it will always be a part of me.
